Having Conversations That Matter with Youth

Dr. Bob McCarty challenges catechists, teachers, and youth ministers to examine their ministry practices in light of the Going, Going, Gone research into young people’s disaffiliation from the Catholic Church. McCarty provides the vision, methodology, and practical tools to shift from focusing on telling young people what to believe, to focusing on deeply listening to young people’s experiences, questions, and concerns about life, spirituality, and the Church, while accompanying them on their faith journey.
